Tutoring​

Aiming to create self-reliant and curious human beings that want to create and pursue meaningful lives.

To this end, I offer:

• One-on-one sessions 1-hour sessions taking place 1-3 times per week, or on-demand. Mimicking music instruction, we discuss and work on projects of interests, challenges, timelines, goals. The subject material could be current classwork or class related projects, independent projects, or preparation for future education, be it university or industry. I provide guidance and resources for self-developed projects and learning across disciplines including science and technology, trades, and history. I aim to build self-reliance and independence of thought and action. Instead of merely learning a particular subject, I intend for students to learn the practice of learning. The sessions are an opportunity to foster curiosity and interests and connect students to specialists in whatever form is accessible (such as books, lectures, or interviews).
• Guiding Principles. I have a set of guiding principles for students based on Promethean and humanistic ideals. These are a collection of relatively traditional principles, now adapted for modern times in response to the unprecedented surge of anti-human influences.

Specific subjects: engineering, physics, astronomy, programming, and math.
